Tangi Association of Bass Anglers

Our meetings are held on the 1st Monday of the month at the Tangi Board of health office on Club Deluxe Road at 7:00 pm.
If you are thinking about joining a bass club in the Tangipahoa region come sit in on a meeting and meet our members. We have some very good fishermen and sportsman in our club. TABA Holds 12 tournaments a year on a monthly basis. TABA uses a Draw partner format for our tournaments. If you are new to this area the draw partner format not only helps you learn our local waters but it also allows you to learn techniques and get tips and advice from our more experienced members.

As a club we have a fund raiser booth every year at our Local Strawberry Festival and also the Little Italy Festival where we sell raffle tickets for a boat that generates our club revenue for the year. We also host the Strawberry Festival Tournament held at North Pass every year.
During the summer the club hosts a crawfish boil for our members and their families. TABA Also has a end of the year Banquet for its members and their families to present its awards for the previous year.

East Pearl has alot of fish biting just seems most are small fish.Brian Wolfe and Andy Perez took 1st with 8 fish weighing 19.47 lbs.Elmer Crouse and Wayne Schum had 10 fish going 14.47 lbs for 2nd place. Andy Perez had Big Bass weighing 3.81 lbs.
